Getting to Know Me

Beronica Salazar, Ph.D., LCPC (#LCPC-4637) ID, ACS

Welcome! I feel privileged you are exploring my site. I hope this will be a first step (in many) to learn about my services and me.

Supporting individuals through their lives is a rewarding experience for me. I believe in the importance of developing trusting relationships to boost confidence to assist them to explore complex issues. I work toward building on persons' strengths and empowering them to find their best solutions. Part of this process includes gaining awareness through self-discovery about their strengths and barriers. The sessions are aimed at exploring life's difficult situations to help individuals remain connected to their systems and preferred culture.

Making the Connection

I recognize visiting with a new counselor (or supervisor) can be difficult. Finding someone that is a good fit is essential; hence, I encourage individuals to think of the first session as an exploration meeting to assess their comfort with the process while not making any long-term commitments. I invite you to schedule an appointment to meet me.
